Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Syro (syropersonality.com) covering the website, the web app, and every feature in them. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

Syro is a personality and compatibility platform built on cognitive function theory. It produces reads, reports, scores and AI-generated guidance about how you and the people in your life are wired.

It is a tool for self-knowledge and better relationships. It is NOT medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice, and it is not a diagnostic instrument. Personality typology is a model, not a measurement; treat every read as a lens, not a verdict. Never use Syro as a substitute for a qualified professional, and never make high-stakes decisions (hiring, custody, treatment) on the basis of a Syro score.

• You must be 16 or older.
• Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep your email reachable, since that's how we recover your account.
• One person per account. Don't resell, share or transfer access.

The test and your core profile are free. Syro Pro is a paid subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) that unlocks the full product: deep reports, compatibility for the people you add, circles intelligence, and the AI features.

• Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record; their checkout terms apply to the transaction.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime; access runs to the end of the paid period.
• Introductory offers (for example a discounted first year) apply for the stated period only, after which the standard price renews.
• Prices can change; we'll notify you before a change affects your renewal.
• AI usage is metered by a monthly credit allowance to keep the service sustainable; top-up packs may be offered.

For refunds, email us. We handle requests case by case and honor whatever consumer rights apply where you live.

You can add people you know and estimate their type. You're responsible for what you enter about others, so keep it respectful and lawful. Information you add about someone stays private to your account (see the Privacy Policy).

Invites you send create a mutual connection only when the other person accepts. Don't spam invite links.

AI answers are generated by a language model working from your personality context. They can be wrong, incomplete or generic despite our best efforts. Use judgment; don't treat AI output as fact or as professional advice. You're responsible for what you do with it.

• No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated bulk access to reads, reports or scores.
• No using Syro to harass, profile, or discriminate against people, including in employment decisions.
• No attempting to break, overload, or probe the security of the service.
• No uploading unlawful content or content you don't have the right to share.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

You own what you enter (your answers, names, photos, messages). You give us the license needed to store and process it to run the service, and nothing more.

Syro owns the product: the engine, the scoring model, the reports' text and design, the brand and the code. Don't copy or republish reports or the engine's output at scale.

The service is provided as is and as available. We don't warrant that reads are accurate, that scores predict outcomes, or that the service is uninterrupted or error-free. Compatibility scores describe cognitive wiring patterns; real relationships depend on far more than wiring.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Syro is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, and we can retire features or the service with reasonable notice, refunding any unused paid period if we do.

We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and significant changes will be flagged by email or in the product. Continuing to use Syro after a change means you accept it.
